Grooming is about more than looks. A regular brush keeps skin healthy, spreads natural oils and helps you spot lumps, fleas or sore patches early.

Short coats

Dogs with short coats usually need a bath every six to eight weeks and a quick weekly brush. Nails should be checked monthly.

Long and curly coats

Long, curly or double coats mat easily. Plan for a brush every other day and a professional groom every four to six weeks.

When in doubt

Ask your groomer. Skin, season and lifestyle all change the answer, and we’re happy to build a simple schedule for you.
